In the most desperate situations, in those which seem the most extreme ones, leaving no way out, man is more and more aware that defeat and fail are just around the corner. Gaza is only known as a place of violence, misery and destruction.
Gaza’s people are mainly victim of the oleographic representation who depict them only as terrorists and victims.
But Gaza, among ruins, is a truly human universe made of daily life jobs and affairs, of healthy human relationships made of willingness, dreams and desires.
Despite of the difficulties and the tragedies, Gaza is a resilient society of people active in art, sport and culture.
Shababik Windows for Contemporary Art is a collective of painters and visual artists who each day fight and struggle to made art-craft as windows opened on the internal insight of Gaza reality.
This documentary movie project want to overturn the horror main-stream vision of Gaza, showing off the many other faces of this beautiful land.
“Windows From Gaza” is a documentary movie project by the NPO FotografiSenzaFrontiere, with the aim to documentate the activities and the work of the gazawi artists’ association Shababik Windows for Contemporary Art.
Windows From Gaza is an association born to teach and spread the culture and love for contemporary art and photography, mostly between young peolple and children of Gaza Strip.
